Design and Install Synthetic Turf Field
1. Can you please provide the elevation of the invert of the storm water manhole we are to tie into?
A: 17.9 Invert
2. The “Synthetic Turf Edge Detail” in Attachment #13 references a Geotechnical Report in reference to the compaction of the “Compacted & Moisture Conditioned Subgrade”. Can you please provide the referenced Geotechnical Report?
A: Contractor is to provide this to the Government.
3. Is the demolished scoreboard to be turned over to the government, or is the contractor to properly dispose of it?
A: Demo and dispose of it.
4. Are there existing drawings showing the scoreboard footing sizes?
A: No
5. Please provide electrical specifications.
A: SOW page 3 of 16, item C
6. What is the size of the existing storm drain piping that runs parallel to G Street?
A: 24”
7. Are the existing water mains shown on the Utility Plan to be relocated or left in place?
A: The lines are to be cap next to the main, and the pipe to be removed from the ground as close to the electrical duct bank. Dig permit will show where these lines are located at for removal.
8. Can one person perform the roles of the Superintendent, QCM, & SSHO?
A: Yes
9. In the SOW 3.5.2, it states “Jobsite and lay down / staging areas shall be enclosed with a 6’ chain link fence with brown fabric screening unless noted otherwise.” Please advise which is needed, as item C.3 under “Provide and Install New” states to provide and install a 4’ orange contractor fencing around the entire site.
A: 6’ chain link fence with brown fabric is for Materials and laydown yard.
4’ Orange construction fence is for the perimeter of the job site.
