1. Buildings 1690, 1691, and 1692 appear to utilize a combination of coax and power cables to each camera. Is the contractor responsible for providing adaptation devices at each camera and at the switch to facilitate the IP cameras provided by the government?
Answer: Yes
2. Is it the intent of this scope of work to provide any new or all CAT6 cabling required facilitating operation of new replacement IP cameras replacing the analog cameras in buildings 1690, 1691, and 1692?
Answer: Existing cabling will be used unless damaged or in need of repair. If new cabling is needed It would be considered over and above and have to be approved by the government.
3. Please verify that all existing cameras in buildings 1624 and 1631 are all IP cameras.
Answer: Yes buildings 1624 and 1631 are IP cameras.
4. We understand that the head end equipment in each building needs to be replaced as annotated in the SOW. However, please verify it is the intent of this SOW to utilize all existing component racks and there is no requirement for contactor to provide new racks.
Answer: There is no requirement to provide new racks
5. Buildings 1624 and 1631 utilize fiber cable interconnection for the existing IP cameras. Please verify how these cameras are provided with power? Is the source at each camera or is there a central power source separate from the head end equipment?
Answer: There is a central low voltage power sources feeding each camera
6. We did not see anything in the SOW requiring a central link between the buildings. Is there an unwritten requirement to link all the buildings for central access?
Answer: No each building is standalone at this time. Cameras go back to central DVR/NVR
7. Please clarify your intent on Paragraph 2 - Over and Above. I.e. if existing infrastructure issues are found during installation, (e.g. using existing cable and it has a broken connection between the camera and the head end) does this fall into the over and above category?
Answer: Yes. Government would need to approve since the assumption is that the existing cabling is good.
8. Will a listing of site visit attendees be posted?
Answer: Here are the attendees:

9. Bldg 1631 –
a. What type of cabling currently exists for the cameras in place?
Answer: CAT 6 network cables
b. Is it required that we place the cabling for the replacement cameras?
Answer: No. Government’s assumption is that the existing cabling is good.
10. Bldg 1657 –
a. What are the make and models of the existing cameras?
Answer: Camera, Flexidome 2 8-10mm varifocal (14 ea); Camera, Flexidome 9-22mm varifocal (32 ea)
11. Bldg 1691 & 1692
a. What are the make and models of the government provided cameras?
Answer: Camera, Flexidome 2 8-10mm varifocal; Camera, Flexidome 9-22mm varifocal
12. Where will the TrendNet Switches be installed?
Answer: 1690, 1691 & 1692
13. Will the Response Date be extended?
Answer: No, Reponse Date will remain the same
