The contractor must provide complete replacement of two existing pressure washing systems, including removal of old equipment and installation of two new stationary, industrial, natural gas-fired, hot water pressure washing systems. Each system must meet minimum specifications: 4.0 gallons per minute (GPM) at 2,000 PSI operating output; 230-volt, 3-phase electrical power with minimum 5-horsepower motor; natural gas-fired burner generating approximately 390,000 BTUs; and ETL certification to UL-1776 safety standards. Required features include integrated downstream chemical injector, energy-saving time-delay auto start/stop functionality, minimum 50-foot heavy-duty high-pressure hose, spring-retractable hose reel, variable pressure wand, and integrated pressure relief valve. The contractor is responsible for all freight and delivery costs, utility connections (water, natural gas, electrical), site cleanup, full system testing, and providing training and documentation to Ground Transportation personnel. The contractor must provide two physical and one digital copy of manufacturer Operation and Maintenance manuals, along with final warranty documentation. A core component of managing this diverse fleet is conducting rigorous vehicle inspections and performing preventative maintenance to ensure the safe, efficient movement of people and equipment. The requested industrial vehicle washing facility is a required service to support these daily maintenance and operational duties. Because Ground Transportation operates vehicles in all environmental conditions, heavy dirt, grease, and corrosive winter road treatments constantly build up on the fleet. This washing equipment is necessary to effectively clean the vehicles, which prevents structural corrosion, allows technicians to accurately inspect components for damage or leaks, and ensures our fleet maintains a highly professional appearance for distinguished visitor support and daily Air Force operations on Joint Base Andrews (JBA).

Following decommissioning, the Contractor shall procure, deliver, install, and test two (2) new stationary, industrial, natural gas-fired, hot water pressure washing systems to ensure full operational capability.
Equipment Specifications (Salient Characteristics) The Contractor shall provide two heavy- duty pressure washing system that meets or exceeds the following minimum performance specifications for each:
• Operating Output: Minimum 4.0 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) at 2,000 PSI.
• Power Supply: Compatible with exis ting facility power, operating on 230-volt / 3-phase electrical supply, utilizing a minimum 5-horsepower motor.
• Heating System: Natural gas-fired burner capable of generating approximately
390,000 BTUs for rapid and sustained hot water cleaning.
• Safety Certification: The entire system must be ETL Certified to UL-1776 Safety
S tandards .
• Required Features & Accessories:
Integrated downstream chemical injector for the automatic application of cleaning agents .
Energy-saving time-delay auto s tart/s top functionality to reduce motor wear and energy consumption.
A minimum 50-foot heavy-duty, high-pressure hose.
A spring-retractable hose reel suitable for commercial use.
A variable press ure wand to allow users to adjust s pray intensity based on the vehicle or component being cleaned.
An integrated pressure relief valve for safe operation
Disposition of Old Systems
• Utility Isolation & Safety: Safely isolate, shut off, and disconnect all utility feed lines connected to the existing systems, including natural gas supply lines, dedicated water supply lines, and electrical power connections, in strict compliance with facility safety protocols and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Complete System De-installation: Uninstall and remove two (2) complete existing pressure washer units, ensuring no components or sub-assemblies are left secured to the facility floor or mounting structures.
• Ancillary Equipment Removal: Disconnect and remove all associated ancillary hardware, to include all high-pressure lines, overhead or wall-mounted hose reels, control switches, and wands from the machine to the end-use point.
