Text version

1. In previous years this work has been performed by school buses. Would you consider removing the A/C requirement for Non-ADA buses?

Answer: No. we requested AC because we do not know the weather and we want the general public to have the best experience they can and after a long day no-one wants to sit on hot bus to get back to their car.

2. States contractor to set up barriers for loading & unloading of passengers. Will contractor be responsible for logistical design or just set up? Also, does not explicitly state contractor responsible for breakdown of barriers. Is this required?

Answer: No, another company has designed pick up and drop off locations

3. In regards to setup & break down(if necessary). When will area be made available prior to and after event(if necessary) to perform work?

Answer: The set up will be complete at Fed Ex and on base a day prior to the start of the event

4. States contractor to provide equipment to identify loading and unloading areas. Is there specifications for what is desired or is this up to contractor discretion?

Answer: Big flag type signs designating Fed Ex or DOD shuttles because one is on the

North side of the Ramp and one is on the South side of the ramp

5. If we only have seven 57 passenger buses and about fifteen 24-32 passenger mini buses can we still submit a bid for this solicitation?

Answer: No we need a total of 275 buses to complete the mission and it appears you only have 22.
