Building 1201 Site Visit Q&A

Q: Can the contractor shut down the boilers during work?

A: With Hanscom Civil Engineering coordination

Q: What do the boilers use for fuel?

A: The boilers use a combination of natural gas and #6 oil

Q: Does the contractor need to calibrate for just the #3 boiler, or all four boilers?

A: All four boilers will need to be calibrated.

Q: Will the contractor themselves have to shut down or turn on the boilers during work?

A: No. Hanscom Civil Engineering personnel will coordinate shutting down and turning on the boilers.
