STATEMENT OF WORK
For Replace the O2 and CO Sensors on all 4 Boilers.
Location: Building: 1201 By: Lenore Gerossie
WORK ORDER NUMBER: 65423
DATED: 25 April 2014
1. GENERAL INFORMATION:
This project is intended to replace the O2 and CO sensors on all 4 boilers in accordance with all applicable National, Air Force, State and local building codes and regulations. This work will consist of supplying/furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, shop drawings, and expenses necessary to accomplish the work described below in compliance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Building Code and Massachusetts General Law requirements, state and federal codes, base standards and manufacturer’s instructions. Where there is a conflict between nationally recognized codes and local codes, the most stringent shall apply.
2. SCOPE: Replace the O2 and CO sensors on all four boilers
· Remove and replace the controller for O2 and CO sensors on Boiler 3
· Replace the LCD display on Boiler 4
· Install new probes to each boiler
· Calibrate all 4 units
· Send broken LCD to ABB for analysis and return results to CE
· Civil Engineering will shut down and start the boilers
· Base estimate on two trips to work on two boilers at time, provide pricing if more than two trips will be needed
· Schedule will need to be provided after award of contract. CE requires a notice to shut down boilers.
3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work includes, but is not limited to the following:
a. Provide resolutions of any technical problems that arise during the construction.
b. Should any change in scope be required, it must be coordinated with the Project POC and approved as a change order prior to performing the change in work.
c. Provide updates to Project POC. Any construction issues, changes to schedule, or schedule slippages with justification must be reported at the periodic updates.
