About this file

This is a Vendor Questions and Answers document for a Secure Video Teleconference (SVTC) Upgrade pre-solicitation from the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WVSS). The document addresses technical specifications and requirements for five video teleconference rooms to be located in Building 1630 (not the previously assumed Building 1106 Hanscom Conference Center).

The five conference spaces have defined dimensions ranging from approximately 200 to 500 square feet: Room A (26'6" x 12'6"), Room B (28'1" x 12'3"), Room C (20'9" x 11'11"), Room D (22'2" x 10'8"), and Room E (29' x 17'6"). Currently, no AV or control systems are installed in any rooms; vendors should assume complete system replacement. The solution must support multiple collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams (NIPR), Microsoft Teams (SIPR), DISA GVS for SIPR VTC, and potentially JWICS VTC, with each room capable of operating independently across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and possibly a contractor network. The Government has not yet finalized display technology preferences due to varying physical restrictions per room (such as limitations on wall penetrations), and specific room restrictions will be provided later. A site visit is anticipated (date TBD) where vendors will have the opportunity to meet with technical and end-user teams to understand operational workflows and desired functionality. Approved secure switching/KVM technology for maintaining network separation will be Government-provided.
