FA282321Q4017, Amendment 1, Questions and Answers

Q1: We have read the SOW and everything seems quite clear but as recommended and from experience, we would like to visit your dorms. In the doc, it states that any visits or inquiries should be addressed before June 21, 2021. With that being said what is required for us to register and visit the base?

A1: At this time, the Government is unable to facilitate a site visit. However, the Government has included external building pictures and internal building floorplans along with this Q&A document.

Q2: Do you require GSA Pricing for the dorm room furniture?

A2: As this requirement is being solicited on the open market under FAR Part 13, GSA pricing is not required.

Q3: Do you have a basis of design for the furniture as to a manufacture?

A3: Please refer to the specifications that are outlined in the SOW

Q4: Do you require the quote to be based on GSA Schedule or can the quotes be open market?

A4: As this requirement is being solicited on the open market under FAR Part 13, no GSA offers will be considered IAW FAR 8.404(a).

Q5: According to the scope of work: "The furniture delivery date and installation/moving services performance start date must occur within 120 days of award date," however is it okay to submit an estimate with our expected delivery lead time being 120-150 days of award date?

A5: Please make every effort to adhere to the 120 day requirement as stated in the scope of work. If this is not possible to adhere to, please submit the next most expeditious lead-time per the quote requirements found within the RFQ document.

Q6: The SOW references a layout of the buildings but I do not see it in the documents. Can you please provide?

A6: Please see the mentioned documents included in the solicitation via amendment 1.

Q7:Do you have a site plan that shows the perimeter of the buildings for access with a lift?

A7: Please see the mentioned documents included in the solicitation via amendment 1.

Q8: When is the anticipated date of installation?
