FA282318Q0012 – Non-Destructive Test Support Consolidated Requests for Information

As of 01 December 2017

Question 1): Is the pre and post meeting a part of the estimated seven day job period or will this be in addition to?

Response 1): Pre and Post meeting would be in addition to.

Question 2): Please provide clarification for Positive Material Identification item 2.iv.

In particular, may carbon equivalency be done with a supplied sample off site? The PMI machine required for the requested analysis is bulky. Carbon equivalency cannot be performed with the normal hand held XRF analyzers.

Response 2): The test team has determined that the Positive Material Identification (PMI) test will not work for the system. PWS revised 30 November 2017.

Question 3): What exactly is involved in the Wind Test Support? Would the vendor just be standing by while the

Govt performs this and they would be there for some contingency testing or whether they would have an active role in it?

Response 3): The contractor would be in standby, in case the test needs to end earlier than anticipated.

General Note: Quotes need to cover the full 7 days of testing, but need to be broken out in order to determine the daily rates for each test. Have revised the posting description to include sample breakout.
