CY20 CTO Parking Lot Light Poles 8-15-19

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2.

This ACQUISITION is set aside for a Woman Owned Small Business.

The NAICS code is 238210 and the SBA Size Standard is $15M.

In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFAR 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM); the contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at: https://www.sam.gov.

This is a new "repair by replacement" requirement to replace one hundred seventy six (176) parking lot light poles in sixteen surface parking lots in various locations outside of the SAFB Restricted Area. Twenty-nine (29) of the parking lot light poles have already failed from the near constant oscillation and vibration due to wind. This project will require the contractor to furnish and install new parking lot poles on the new reinforced concrete piers. See the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for a detailed breakdown of the requirement.

The location of this work will be performed at Schriever AFB, Colorado 80912-5006.

The 50th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract with a 150 day period of performance for this project after issuance of Notice to Proceed.

The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.

NOTES:

1. The solicitation with the official specifications will be available on the GPE on or about 30 August 2019 posted at https://www.fbo.gov. AutoCAD drawings will be available after award.

The tentative date for the receipt of proposals is 16 September 2019. A physical site visit for this project will be scheduled for all potential offerors, the time and date is yet to be determined but will be listed in the official solicitation.
