FA2550-19-R-A011 B400 Elevators Synopsis 7-31-19
This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2.
This ACQUISITION is a Total Small Business set-aside.
The NAICS code is 238290 and the SBA Size Standard is $15M.
In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFAR 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award
Management (SAM); the contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at: https://www.sam.gov.
This is a new "repair by replace" requirement to repair and correct issues identified with the elevators inside the Restricted Area in B400 on Schriever AFB. The project's primary focus is updating four elevators. Elevators one and two are traction type passenger units located on the north side of the facility. Elevator three is a hydraulic freight elevator located on the south side of the facility. Elevator four is a hydraulic passenger/service type elevator located adjacent to elevator three on the south side of the facility. The project will address the Cab Finishes, Controls, Doors, Door Hardware, Door Controls, Wearable Parts, Cab Lighting, and Overall
Code Compliance.
The location of this work will be performed inside the Restricted Area at Schriever AFB, Colorado 80912-5006.
The 50th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract with a 365 day period of performance for this project after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
NOTES:
1. The solicitation with the official specifications will be available on the GPE on or about 14
Aug 19 posted at https://www.fbo.gov. AutoCAD drawings will be available after award. The tentative date for the receipt of proposals is 15 Sep 19. A physical site visit for this project will be scheduled for all potential offerors, the time and date is yet to be determined but will be listed in the official solicitation.
