The Following are questions and answers from a vendor:

Question 1 - If you are using the existing control base for these new signs. Or do you need a new one?

Response: We intend to use the existing control base for the new signs. One additional toggle switch will be required to operate the new "Irwin Gate Open/Closed" sign board. Per the SOR, the contractor shall provide onsite installation assistance to configure and link the radio networks and commissioning to insure that the system is fully operational.

Question 2 - Are you planning on using any of the existing equipment that is on the current signs or are you wanting all new materials?

Response: The SOR requires new equipment to include solar panels, battery/cabinet, etc. to be sized to operate the new signs.

Question 3 - Are these all new locations for these signs

Response: The SOR Project background shows reusing the existing sign posts on Highway 94 and North Curtis Road for the new message boards. A new sign assembly will be installed on South Curtis Road as shown on the SOR Exhibit.

Question 4 - Line items 4-6, are these new signs black on white or do you want them green with white to match the electronic signs?

Response: The SOR Exhibit shows the required sign colors and wording as approved by CDOT.
