STATEMENT OF Objectives (SOO) Dormitory Mattress Replacement
460 CES/CEIH Unaccompanied Housing Buckley SFB CO 80011
1 February 2024
1. Introduction and Overview Buckley Space Force Base requires the removal and replacement of dormitory mattresses in accordance with furniture and appliance life cycle requirements.
2. Scope of Work The Contractor will deliver and install 390 Twin XL Mattresses and remove and dispose of the previous mattresses off base. Installation will take place in two (2) buildings that each have two floors. Contractor will be required to transport mattresses up two flights of stairs, an elevator is not available. Mattresses will be properly installed in each bedroom.
3. Salient Characteristics
• Each mattress will be 38” wide by 80” long, which should equate to a “Twin-XL”
• Each mattress will have at least a 460 coil count
• Each mattress will be a firm top mattress
• Each mattress will have a 1.5” thick foam insert
• Each mattress will have a 3” thick upholstery
• Each mattress will have a 1” firm support pad
4. Warranty Each mattress will have a standard minimum 10-year warranty against defect in material and workmanship.
5. Delivery Products shall be delivered within six weeks after receipt of order. A loading dock is not available, so delivery trucks will be needing a lift gate.
5.1 Delivery Addresses
Buckley Space Force Base, CO 80011 Building addresses will be provided upon award.
6. Contractor Registration.
The Contractor must have current registration through System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
