Questions and Answers

1. We see the storage size for the sump on the first cooling tower building 430 is 25,000 gallons and wondered if that is remote or if it always circulates back to that, as it potentially changes how much chemical is needed?

a. Answer: It circulates constantly to/from the sump utilizing 2 out of 3 cooling towers year-round.

2. Also there aren’t really any details on cooling tower #2 in Building 331?

a. Answer: Building 331 is a 90 ton Baltimore aircoil tower.

3. Can you please specify the system volume of the closed loops in each building?

a. Answer: There are 34 hot water and 25 chill water loops

4. Are there any specifications on the equipment and what you have now or are we expected to make our best recommendation?

a. Answer: We have a line item for monthly cost for lab testing of each system, also a line item for 55-gallon drum of uninhibited glycol delivered and installed with each system required to be brought up to 30 %, and a line item for corrosion inhibitor installed per

1000 gallons.
