Building 26 Furniture SOW 05 April 2019

1.0 Background cover sheet or appendix

The NSA/CSS has a requirement for the install of new modular furniture, electrical wiring and to pull telecommunication as well as the optional tear down/removal and haul away of the current cubicles, furniture, electrical and information technology wiring for the military personnel located in Building 26 at Buckley AFB, CO. This furniture will be used to accommodate various staff personnel teams, which satisfy new and future organizational requirements for the five military services of the Central Security Service. This furniture will accommodate 45 military Service Members operating as staff on the NSA Colorado Site.

2.0 Scope

As directed by SAF/AQC mandatory use letter dated 20 Feb 2014, this project will be bid using standard typical configurations. Any variation from the typical configuration will be documented in paragraphs below. Not to exceed pricing has been previously established by the Tier I manufacturer for each typical as well as for design, delivery and installation services, but the contractor in this case, an authorized Tier II dealer of said manufacturer, may choose to propose lower pricing.

For this project NSA/CSS requires the following:

-One (1) CLIN0001BU minus 8M (file cabinet) with each desk -One (1) CLIN 0001AQ –modified, with rolling doors -Four (4) CLIN0001BB with desks arranged in a U vice two back to back Cs and no back wall enclosures -Six (6) CLIN0001BA with no back wall enclosures -Three (4) CLIN0001BA each connected and each with rolling door. One of the three with no desk surface; new scope-modify station to add work-surface

No overhead storage bins.

All perimeter walls are 64 in high topped with 14 in frame-less frosted/opaque glass for a total 78 inches.

All interior walls for cubical areas are 50 in topped with 14 in frame-less frosted/ opaque glass for a total of 64 in.

-Three (3) Private Offices- arrange to accommodate two desks with one mobile B/B/F ea.

-Two (2) Private Office- arrange to accommodate three desk surfaces, with one mobile B/B/F ea.

-One (1) Private Office- arrange desk in L Shape, with one B/B/F storage and two guest chairs

-One (1) Mothers Room- Accommodations for countertop with sink (access to hot and cold water); under counter refrigerator, lockable storage cabinet and one padded adjustable height chair

Tear out, and optional haul away of old electrical wiring. Install new electrical wiring with new cubicles and connect to existing power grid.

Tear out, and optional haul away old information technology (IT) wiring. Install new Category 6 (CAT 6) wiring x3 per desk and outer office. Connect the same to the existing server room with proper labeling and current standards.

All work will be completed in one continuous period of work, no down-time minus weekend, federal holidays and evenings.

Once the contract has been awarded, it becomes the responsibility of the contractor to validate the actual site conditions as well as any specific programming needs of the customer. Even with Air Force efforts to standardize furnishings under this program, design work after evaluation of Tier II proposals could reveal that the number of cubicles may require a small adjustment. In no case shall prices exceed the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) amount established in the Tier I contract. It is understood that the actual site parameters or certain customer requirements may deviate from the standard typical layouts; therefore any deviation that causes an increase in the price submitted during the bid process must be documented in writing and submitted to the Contracting Officer for review, along with a floorplan reference to show just cause. A final furniture layout and Bill of Materials (BOM) will then be provided that meets the customer requirements and accommodates the physical environment. Design parameters and expectations are followed in Section 3.2.

Plan view and isometric layout of each typical workstation, along with a description of components included- See Figure 1.
