3. Contractor is to be prepared to set up audio at 1000 on prep day and be finished by 1700. All contractors need to be off base by 1700 prep day. Said contractors are to be in place by 0500 next morning to test all microphones and speakers prior to the start of the event. Music is to begin playing at 0545 and the event narrator will take over contractor equipment at the start location at 0650. Equipment must allow for emcees/hosts to use a microphone and be able to speak to all persons present at the event through the respective speaker audio system. The National Anthem (Air Force Band) is to be cued up and ready to play at the start line by 0720 IF there is not a scheduled in-person singer.
Simultaneously, the contractor must also ensure and test all equipment at the finish line and have it ready to go by 0730, the start of the race and when music shall begin playing.
The volume of the music will decrease when the event narrator begins at 0800.
4. Contractors will provide audio coverage for the start and finish areas of the 10-Miler course. The finish line stage is located at Lighthouse Road. The starting line is located at Titan III (Road) within the enclosed Cape Canaveral installation. Finalized locations for performance to be provided after contract award.
5. The contractor shall operate and maintain equipment throughout the days events.
6. Audio engineer needs to confirm audio is loud enough for the audience to hear
7. Contractor is responsible for all equipment, tools, and personnel necessary to complete the contract effort. The government is NOT providing utilities or power for contractor use for the performance of this effort. The exception is hangar C specifically which will have some basic electrical utilities available for only this area. While available, this should not be relied upon as a primary solution. Enclosure in Hangar C will not allow for a fuel-powered generator.
8. All contractors coming onto base must possess US Citizenship and have no felonies to be allowed on CCSFS. Contractor is responsible for providing personnel eligible to work on government installations and capable of completing a background check with local security forces to obtain base clearance and access. Access request should be submitted NLT than 3 weeks in advance of actual base entry. Additional time will NOT be provided in the event that provided personnel are unable to gain base entry. It is the contractor’s responsibility to preemptively verify capability of their personnel to pass a background check. See Attachment 2 – Badge Request for personnel submission requirements. Submission is not required until an award is made. It is suggested the contractor once awarded works access requests as soon as possible for the duration of the contract performance.
