STATEMENT OF WORK

FOR

Blinds/Panels for FSR office space

45 FSS/FSR BLDG 425 2ND FLOOR

DATE 4 Sep 2024

Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise, required to replace the current blinds/panels that are located in the NAFAO and IT offices of Bldg 425.

1. Remove current panels and take away/dispose. Demolish and removal must be accomplished in one day with all debris/fabric and remnants must be removed from site.

2. Replace panels on all windows for FSR.

• Type: Cordless Lift Solar Shades

• Operation: The shades shall feature a cordless lift mechanism, ensuring ease of use and enhanced safety.

• Fabric: The shades shall be constructed from high-quality solar fabric, designed to reduce glare, protect interiors from UV rays, and improve energy efficiency by minimizing heat gain through windows with at least 95% light blocking.

• Light Control: The solar shades shall offer optimal light control while maintaining outside visibility, providing privacy without compromising natural light.

• Aesthetics: The shades shall have a clean, modern appearance that complements the existing interior design of the facility.

• Durability: The shades must be durable and resistant to wear, ensuring a long service life in a high-traffic environment.

• Color/Finish: The color and finish of the shades shall be a neutral beige or sand color appropriate for an office environment.

2.2 Each window will require two shades per window for ease of access.

We have measured windows, but they will need to be remeasured by vendor to ensure accuracy

3. The Contractor shall coordinate the planned schedule of work with the Resource Manager.

Contractor will also:

• Verify all existing dimensions and conditions before proceeding with fabrication/install.

• Clean up the work area after each workday.

• Perform work during normal business hours, Mon – Fri, 8:00am to 5:00pm unless otherwise worked out in advance with the Resource Manager.

• Be responsible for protecting existing surroundings as needed.

4. Performance period is 30 days once contract awarded.
