Reference 10B & 10D: Access to restricted Data (RD) information which is classified and controlled under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 or Formerly Restricted Data (FRD) is required. Both RD and FRD mandate a final U.S. Government security clearance at the appropriate level prior to access.

DSS is relieved of all industrial security oversight for contractor performance on DoD installations or DoD leased property unless the local Commander has requested DSS services. Inspections will be conducted by the local Servicing Security Agency.

The contractor shall enter into a Visitor Group Security Agreement (VGSA) with the local Servicing Security Agency (SSA), 45 SW/IP and the on-site government functional for their operations on the AF installation or Air Force leased property. Sub-contractors will also be required to have a separate VGSA or and addendum to the Prime contractors VGSA.
