About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) document providing clarifications and responses to vendor questions regarding ISO Shelter specifications for the 4th Electromagnetic Warfare Squadron (4EWS) at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.

The RFI addresses five key technical and logistical questions: (1) ECU duct port specifications clarify that field units require 14.5-inch diameter openings with a total of four ducts (two intake and two exhaust) positioned on the broad interior sides, with one duct near the ceiling and one near the floor; (2) the ECU will be provided by the manufacturer, not the U.S. Government, and will utilize standard military field ECUs; (3) no startup or offloading services are required at Peterson Space Force Base, with only Intrusion Detection System (IDS) testing upon arrival; (4) pre-inspection by an accrediting authority prior to shipment cannot be confirmed or discounted at this time; and (5) all communication lines will be connected at a single waterfall port blank plate. This RFI supports the solicitation FA251726QA034 for two twenty-foot ISO Shelters to be delivered to Peterson Space Force Base and deployed to other locations.
