Price analysis shall be used to evaluate the price reasonableness of LPTA Offeror.
- The Government may compare Offeror’s TEP, compare TEPs to the Independent Government Estimate
(IGE), or may use other price analysis techniques per FAR 13.106-3(a). Evaluation of option prices shall not obligate the Government to exercise the options.
A tax exemption letter will not be provided for this acquisition please keep this in mind when preparing your quote.
AWARD PROCESS
1) The Government will first review all quotes for compliance and then order the Offerors from Lowest TEP to Highest TEP. All compliant quotes will then be evaluated for Factor 1, Technical Approach on acceptable/unacceptable basis. Quotes that are technically unacceptable are un-awardable. The Government will continue the evaluation process until all quotes have been evaluated.
2) Then, the lowest priced quote deemed technically acceptable, will be evaluated for Factor 2, Price. Prior to award, the quoted price of the lowest priced technically acceptable offer will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness in accordance with FAR 13.106-3(a). If the price is determined to be fair and reasonable, the lowest priced responsible Offeror, who is technically acceptable, will receive the award. The award will be made to that Offeror without further consideration to any other Offerors.
