Question 1

Budget Allocation: What is the budget allocated for this project?

Answer 1

No budget allocation will be provided.

Question 2

Project risks and Challenges: Are there any known risks or challenges associated with this project that we should be aware of? For example, are there concerns such as asbestos, explosives that we need to consider during installation?

There are older buildings with asbestos, but the contractor won’t be drilling into the tiles on the floor for installations.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Are there any specific SLAs we need to adhere to for this project?

Answer 3

Please see Attachment 4 – Terms and Conditions

Question4

In Attachment 2: it states in 5.2 that the contractor must have access to JPAS. I don’t see a DD254 or any security clearances above installation security clearance, stated in any of the attachments, can you please clarify whether we do need access to JPAS?

Answer 4

Any secret clearances will be submitted and sponsored by 21 CS, if needed.

Question 5

Attachment 3: Since this is for a Period of Performance (PoP) of 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2029 the PoP attachment 3 only has 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025 for all 4 CLINS. Should there be 5 CLINS and should there be different PoP indicated? Please clarify.

Answer 5

On Attachment 3 there is a note under the CLIN structure that states the price list will be updated annually. That’s why the dates for the pricing are from 01 June 2024 – 31 May 2025. The awardee will create a new pricing list for each year of the BPA.

Question 6

What type of fiber any more specific on type and strand count?

OM 3 is currently popular with the customers because the gigabit speeds that can be used are higher. 2-strand jumper cables (from wall to computer and patch panel to switch) and 12 strand fibers are most common.
