RFQ Number: FA2517-19-Q-5993 CMAFS Fire Protection Rm 1111 Questions and Answers
1. PWS section 3.1.3.5. States (When the system is fully operational, the contractor will request a preliminary runoff. This will allow Government personnel to come in and run the system through any and all situations they can come up with. Any issues will be brought to the attention of the government immediately). Please clarify the operation of "preliminary runoff" for this system.
Answer: Checking the system and making sure the detectors/alarms/system components work properly and then be reset.
2. Ceiling/floor plans do not match up with the SOW - please clarify or correct.
Answer: The work requirements should be followed based on the PWS. The ceiling plans provide additional information to what is already existing and where those items are located. No demountable walls need to be removed. The fire sprinklers will be moved in accordance with the drawings. HVAC diffuser are being handled by another party. Furniture will be removed by CMAFS.
3. Escort requirement contradicts itself. SOW indicates Government provided however within the security section it states contractor furnished, please provide clarification.
Answer: Please ignore the first sentence on 3.1.4.6.4. Escorting will be provided by AFTAC Det 46 personnel.
