Attachment 1-Requirements
1. Non-Radioactive detection device
2. Desktop size
3. Portable
4. Must be capable to use swabs to detect potential explosives/narcotics
5. Single use swabs (30,000 minimum)
6. Device must be capable of self-calibrating
7. Interchanging battery for prolonged use (minimum two batteries per device to allow for one to charge and one to be used simulataneously)
8. Sample reading must be completed in 10 seconds or less
9. Must operate at high altitude: between 13,000 and 14,000 feet
10. Must simultaneously detect explosives and narcotics
11. Must have the capability to switch between explosive detection and narcotic detection for single purpose use; i.e. Only Explosives or Only Narcotics
12. Explosive Detection: Military, commercial and HMEs including RDX, TNT, PETN, NG, AN, UN, HMTD, TATP, EGDN, Tetryl, HMX
13. Narcotic Detection: Amphetamine, Cocaine, Heroin, Ketamine, MDA, MDMA, Methamphetamine, Buprenorphine, THC, Fentanyl
14. Must provide percentage readout/printout of substance that is present/detected
