About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation FA226326Q0002, issued by the Air Force Materiel Command (AFLCMC) on April 20, 2026, with an effective date of April 20, 2026. The amendment corrects two discrepancies in the original solicitation dated March 27, 2026.
The primary correction addresses conflicting delivery requirements for first production units under CLINs 0001 and 0003. The original addendum regarding "Inspection and Acceptance of First Production Unit" stated a delivery timeframe of 120 calendar days from contract award; this amendment corrects the delivery requirement to 180 calendar days after contract award, consistent with the "Deliveries or Performance" section. The amendment specifies that the contractor must deliver one unit each of Lot/Item 0001 and Lot/Item 0003 to AFMETCAL within 180 calendar days of contract award for first production testing. The Government will notify the contractor of conditional approval, approval, or disapproval within 45 calendar days of receipt. If disapproved, the contractor must submit additional units at its own expense and bears all associated testing costs, including $847.52 per unit for retesting administrative costs to be deducted from the contract price. The second correction adds DFARS 252.225-7013 (Duty-Free Entry), effective July 2025, which was erroneously omitted from the original solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the offer deadline through completion and return of the amendment, acknowledgment on each copy of the offer submitted, or separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.
