Q&A
1. Has an aircraft manufacturer been selected? I ask because the Cessna Models have different controls then Piper. And I am currently working with the FAA on an AATD renewal, per AC61-136B, the throttle controls must be appropriate to the aircraft model represented.
Answer: (single engine) Beechcraft Bonanza 6 Pack Analog Configuration with GNS430/530 (retractable gear) (multi-engine) Baron BE58 G1000 w/GFC 700AP (retractable gear)
2. Enclosed Cockpit or Open-- Answer: Closed
3. Are the Visuals required to be mounted to the motion platform to move with the device?—
Answer: Mounted to the platform.
4. Verify if this will be a 6DOF Full Motion Device not a 3DOF. Answer 6D0F
5. NAV updates come from Jeppesen or Garmin, we normally provide the most current data but as you may know it changes every 28 days . Customers usually provide their own source but if you like we can provide that service where we log in and update you NAV data.
Answer: Must provide 4 years of data
6. Our controls are Electronically Linked. The advantage all control forces can be modified if required.
Answer: Must be mechanically linked.
7. Not sure what Analyze Flight Button means.

8. Six (6) 27" widescreen displays oriented in an arc around the pilot, copilot, providing the external display. As an alternative for the Out The Window (OTW) display, will the customer accept three top gaming 49" ultra-wide monitors.

9. Motion platform allowing at least 50 pitch, 60 yaw, 40 roll. Is the range of movement from maximum minus to maximum plus, or from zero to maximum plus or minus direction?
Answer: maximum minus to maximum plus
10. Quick-change cockpit configurations that allow end-users to easily and quickly change between aircraft configurations. No simulator technicians or tools are required. Please specify how many and what types of aircraft configurations are required.
Answer: a single engine and dual engine, so two both civil light aircraft
11. Instructor Station Software System allowing instructors to assign and select missions as well as administrators to control access and retrieve usage for record keeping. Is the customer requesting individual Instructor/Operator (I/O) station and After Action Review (AAR) station or a single combined I/O/AAR station?
Answer: All in one
12. Fully customizable user defined "mission database" enables customization of predetermined flights or training session for each pilot key. Is the customer looking for a Computer Generated Forces (CGF) which can deliver various missions, that can be modified?
Answer: Yes we are looking for the ability to develop different air trafic
13. Mechanically linked premium yoke. Please define "premium yoke".
Answer: a yoke that will provide feedback based on the conditions of the flight
14. Must provide TIS-B information. Is the TIS-B information to be provided real or simulated?
Answer: Simulated
