Q&A
1. Has an aircraft manufacturer been selected? I ask because the Cessna Models have different controls then Piper. And I am currently working with the FAA on an AATD renewal, per AC61-136B, the throttle controls must be appropriate to the aircraft model represented.
Answer: (single engine) Beechcraft Bonanza 6 Pack Analog Configuration with GNS430/530 (retractable gear) (multi-engine) Baron BE58 G1000 w/GFC 700AP (retractable gear)
2. Enclosed Cockpit or Open-- Answer: Closed
3. Are the Visuals required to be mounted to the motion platform to move with the device?—
Answer: Mounted to the platform.
4. Verify if this will be a 6DOF Full Motion Device not a 3DOF. Answer 6D0F
5. NAV updates come from Jeppesen or Garmin, we normally provide the most current data but as you may know it changes every 28 days . Customers usually provide their own source but if you like we can provide that service where we log in and update you NAV data.
Answer: Must provide 4 years of data
6. Our controls are Electronically Linked. The advantage all control forces can be modified if required.
Answer: Must be mechanically linked.
7. Not sure what Analyze Flight Button means.
Answer: Capable of debrief
