About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a Department of the Air Force Space Force solicitation for Building 7000 Security Escorts at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The solicitation (F4DLA64029AW01) is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 561612 for security guard services, with a $29M size standard. Key requirements include providing at least two (2) personnel with active TS/SCI security clearances who can start on 24 April 2025, with the current incumbent being TAC Integrated Solutions LLC, which was previously awarded $111,280.00.

The solicitation is a Firm Fixed Price contract with quotes due by 1 April 2025 at 1:00 PM PST, submitted exclusively via email to specified Space Force contacts. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide specific personnel details including full legal name, phone number, and email address. The contract involves security escort services, with a critical requirement that proposed personnel must have an established, active TS/SCI clearance, noting that the National Agency Check (NAC) 180-day process may impact initial staffing availability.

26 March 2025

FROM: 30 CONS/PKB

1515 ICELAND AVE.

Bldg. 8500, RM 150

VANDENBERG SFB, CA. 93437-5212

SUBJECT: S4S/PMO Building 7000 Security Escorts (F4DLA64029AW01)

1) What does the NAC stand for just for clarity purposes?

A National Agency Check (NAC) is an integral part of a background investigation.

2) Does the 180-day process of the NAC delay or prevent my team from starting on the 24th of April.

Personnel that will be performing the job will need to have an established, active TS/SCI on the first day of the Period of Performance. So, yes, the 180-day process will prevent an employee from starting work on the first day.

3) is it appropriate to give 1more name for the TS/SCI clearance to be used as a fill-in?

Sure, that is fine if the contractor has additional personnel to add to the position as a fill-in.

4) Is there an incumbent, if so, what is the name and award amount?

The incumbent is TAC Integrated Solutions LLC and the award amount is $111,280.00

5) Can we the request the specific SF1449 stated on the solicitation. No SF1449 attached on the file The SF1449 will be added to the solicitation

6) Is there a recommended pricing template?

Instructions will be on the SF1449 image1.jpeg
