About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for federal solicitation F4ATD16160AQ02 regarding the conversion of a dump truck chassis into an 801 RHG OLA Water Tanker.
The document clarifies vendor responsibilities and delivery schedule flexibility for the water tanker conversion project. Vendors are responsible for removing all dump truck configuration components, including the dump bed and hoist cylinders, and for installing water tanker components on the chassis prior to delivery. The Government has indicated that the 60-day After Receipt of Order (ARO) delivery and installation timeline is not mandatory; vendors may propose longer delivery schedules, and quotes with extended timelines will be considered technically acceptable and evaluated accordingly.
