Atego Apex/Ada Software Support Scope of Work
For the E-3 Avionics Integrated Support Facility (AISF)
Introduction and Overview
558 SMXS require renewal of software maintenance for the Atego Apex/Ada Developer products licensed for use in the AISF, located in building 3220 at Tinker AFB, OK. These products are used in analyzing, developing, testing, and sustaining the Operational Flight Programs (OFPs) in both the E-3 radar.
Background
558 SMXS/MXDED and 558 SMXS/MXDEB are responsible for analyzing, testing, developing and maintaining the Operational Flight Program (OFP) in the E-3 AWACS radar. The Atego Apex/Ada products are core to sustaining this software and include 5 copies of Ada Developer and 33 copies of the
Embedded Ada Developer. These are hosted on Sun servers using “floating” licenses to access the Ada, C, C++, and assembly compilers, source editors, debuggers, disassemblers, code analyzers, and configuration control software needed to sustain the E-3 radar OFP software. Since the radar is a loosely-coupled multiprocessor environment, multiple licenses (8) are needed to debug the radar systems
(APY-1 & APY-2) while the rest are for engineering analysis, development, and tool access.
Scope of Work
This contract is for Atego Systems Inc. to provide software and technical support via e-mail and telephone during normal working hours for licensed Apex/Ada Developer products. There is no on-site technical support requirement. Services provided are:
1. New license keys, as needed, to control the distribution of licensed products on customer machines. This is essential for migrating software or balancing workload accessibility.
2. Product updates and version releases with documentation, release notes, and installation scripts.
3. Product patches or fixes with documentation release notes, and installation scripts.
4. Technical support for upgrades or migrating products listed in the maintenance agreement.
5. Cross platform technical support for products listed in the maintenance agreement.
6. Limited technical support for non-warranted or obsolete products listed in the maintenance agreement and some Open Source products.
Objective
The objective of this effort is to keep mission essential software in each laboratory operational and working efficiently. Without them we cannot make OFP software releases, analyze anomalies, develop fixes, or deliver expected capabilities to the war fighter on-schedule and within cost. The engineering expertise available in each AISF makes on-site support unnecessary. The assistance with updates, fixes, and non-warranted product support are essential.
Period of Performance
The period of performance for this effort is 01-Jan-2015 to 31-Dec-2015.
Requirements
1. The contractor shall provide access to software updates, version releases, available documents, release notes, and installation scripts for the listed products in the maintenance agreement.
2. The contractor shall provide access to fixes, available documents, release notes, and installation scripts for the listed products in the maintenance agreement.
3. The contractor shall provide telephone technical support, as needed, for products listed in the maintenance agreement, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 09:00 to 15:30 CST, except on US Government holidays.
Deliverables
The contractor shall provide a Proof of Purchase for the Apex/Ada products supported that authorizes
Government access to the product software, license keys, and technical support, as needed, during the
Period of Performance.
