About this file
This is a presolicitation notice for a sole-source procurement. The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a direct firm fixed price purchase order to Spectrum/Charter Communications Operating LLC (SAM UEI: MX16CA896HK5) for Wi-Fi services at Building 907, 1851 1st Street East, Suite 1, JBSA – Randolph, Texas 78150. The contractor is located at 12405 Powerscourt Drive, Saint Louis, Missouri 63131-3673.
Market research determined that Spectrum/Charter Communications Operating LLC is the sole vendor capable of providing Wi-Fi services to the building due to existing coaxial infrastructure that is proprietary to and owned and maintained by Spectrum/Charter. A survey confirmed that the building's ready-to-use coaxial cable system cannot be utilized or replaced by other providers without causing unacceptable delays or incurring substantial duplication of costs, thereby justifying the sole-source procurement determination. This notice is not a request for proposals or invitation for bids, and the Government does not anticipate receiving responses. Any responses submitted will be at the respondent's own expense, with no government reimbursement for preparation or submission costs.
