About this file

This Sources Sought document is issued by the Department of the Air Force to conduct market research for a heater replacement project at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). The project requires procurement and installation of six new natural gas heaters with specific requirements: centrifugal blower, minimum 250,000 BTU/hour output, and ancillary HVAC supplies. The scope includes three primary tasks: (1) procuring and installing the new heaters, (2) uninstalling and disposing of six existing broken heaters in Hangar 84 and Paint Shop 245, and (3) providing diagnostic and troubleshooting services upon installation.

Interested businesses are requested to submit responses to a six-question form by 2:00 P.M. Central Time on 20 May 2025, with correspondence directed to Andrew Hernandez and Emily Deck Sanders. The questionnaire seeks information about company size, socio-economic status, capability to perform all tasks, product pricing method (GSA Schedule or Open Market), NAICS code, and typical delivery timeframe. This is a market research initiative only, and the government will use the collected information for technical and acquisition planning without notifying respondents of the outcome.
