Questions & Answers

1. Will we provide you the wing boats? And if the answer is yes, how many wing boats do you require?

The Wing Boats, engines, and fuel for these boats will be provided by the government.

2. Will the military members sleep on board the ship or they must return to base?

The only members that will be returning to shore are the Live IPs that get hoisted and returned via HH-60. All others will remain on board the entirety of the trip.

3. Do you have more specifications about the ship? Or just that it meets the few specifications that it says in the Performance Work Statement?

1. Provide travel, sustenance, and quarters for our members. 2. Have deck space capable of holding 2x Wing Boats inflated, with Hoist for lowering and raising from water each day. 3.

Space and power for our Star-link communications box to remain set up throughout the exercise. The rest should be outlined in PWS.

4. If the Air Force decides to come back early, will they prorate the quote or will total still be paid? Reason for asking is that I will still be responsible for the total blocked out time for vessel charter.

This will be a FFP contract that will be able to be invoiced for after performance concludes, where the vendor will receive the contract total.

5. One of the vessels is only available 2-10 Aug. the other vessel is available the whole time.

Will the AF be able to meet its mission requirements by sending one of the vessels back to arrive in SD Aug 10.

Vessels will need to remain for the entirety of the exercise.

6. The PWS makes no mention of fuel. Will fuel be provided by the government or contractor?

Also is there any requirement for tracking fuel cost?

Fuel will need to be provided by the contractor for the 2 vessels. The fuel for the Wing-boats will be brought by the government.

7. What documents should we send to participate?

Review the solicitation that was posted on SAM.gov. Under “FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to O erors” it breaks down what we are requesting.
