About this file

This is a Contractor Question and Answer document that clarifies technical specifications for a 20-foot standard shipping container modification required under Solicitation Number F3G3AA6103A001 for the 57 AMXS Hangar 199 CONNEX project at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.

The document addresses 28 questions regarding interior and exterior modifications to the container. Key specifications include: a 36-inch steel entry door with Kwikset lockset located on the long front left side; vertically opening windows with screens on the long sides; electrical service panel (breaker/disconnect) on the long back right side accessible from outside; four duplex 110-volt interior outlets positioned two per long wall; interior LED lighting consisting of two fixtures with two bulbs each at 4000K temperature providing 50-75 foot-candles at 30 inches from floor, controlled by a dimmer switch near the entrance; and a 4000K-5000K floodlight above or near the entrance door. Interior finishing requires spray foam insulation covered with drywall on all walls and ceiling, with the floor insulated and covered with BC sanded plywood. No exterior GFCI receptacles, window guards, or generator inlet are required. The container will connect to commercial power at the delivery location. This is the authoritative technical clarification document that bidders must reference when preparing their offers for the Firm Fixed Price contract with a 60-day delivery requirement to Nellis AFB, Nevada.
