Questions & Answers - F3C3MM5064AW01
1. We would like to know if this is a brand-new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
· The incumbent contract number is FA452820P0042
2. Could you please provide Appendix 2 – Equipment List to assist in the preparation of our pricing strategy?
· Please refer to the attachment document titled ‘Appendix 2- Equipment list’.
3. Is there a preference or requirement for OEM-certified technicians for all equipment brands?
· Certified Fitness Equipment Technician (CFET) is a key certification. Another useful certification is the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA).
4. Can you clarify the expectation around warranty verification responsibilities for new or existing equipment?
All equipment that is purchased via BPA or planned budget is uploaded to the inventory in house by the Fitness Team. Once that piece of equipment is in service the warranty starts. If a piece of equipment goes down for repair, we (Fitness Team) will verify if the equipment meets a warrantable repair requirement. Once that is determined, we (Fitness Team) will work with the contractor to facilitate the warranty repair. Any workmanship/Diagnosis issues will be worked out with the contractor.
