About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for engineering, furnishing, and installing three separate mechanical rolling shelving systems at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. The project involves constructing track-mounted shelving units for two locations: the Fabrication Flights tool room (rooms 158) and the Cold Weather Gear (CWG) storage room (room 144). System specifications include precise measurements for rolling shelves, lockable shelves, and stationary shelves, with total weight capacities ranging from 14,000 to 19,000 pounds across the three systems.

The contract requires the contractor to complete all project aspects within 60 days of award, working during normal business hours (0730-1630 hrs, Monday through Friday). Key requirements include providing new materials, conducting physical inspections and operational tests, maintaining safety compliance, coordinating with base personnel, and offering a one-year warranty covering parts and workmanship. The solicitation (F3C2MX5156AW03) is issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command, with funds contingent upon appropriation availability. The project's total scope encompasses detailed shelving configurations with specific width, length, height, and storage compartment specifications for each system.
