About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) solicitation by the 42nd Security Forces Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses three specific technical specifications: seat belt requirements, infrared lighting, and graphics dimensions. Key clarifications include: (1) all six seating positions can have either four-point harness or factory standard three-point harness, (2) infrared lighting specification has been removed, and (3) customizable police graphics will be 13 inches long by 10 inches wide, to be installed on the front hood and side doors prior to shipping. The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for durable and highly maneuverable UTVs, issued under NAICS Code 336110, with a firm-fixed pricing structure for the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command.
