SOLICITATION No. F2BGAC2199AW01 Questions and Answers
Q1: I’m working on a proposal but GSA also reached out – are you doing the solicitation from SAM or GSA?
A1: The solicitation will be on SAM.gov.
Q2: The Document (SOW) you have publicly posted on SAM.gov is marked CUI; I’m not sure it should be publicly available if marked as CUI?
A2: Will remove that marking and update accordingly and re-post to SAM.gov.
Q3: The SOW states, “Maintenance and Training Concept. The contract must cover the training to include all manufacturer’s safety and operating requirements for the vehicle. Examples of courses are those offered by the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America and Recreational Off- Highway Vehicle Association. Courses will be tailored to include specific mission requirements in addition to the manufacturer’s requirements.” How many training classes are required?
A3: One Class per individual, yet due to shift work the contractor will have to schedule 4 training dates to cover all the Security Forces personnel.
Q4: The SOW states, “Long Term Maintenance Forecast. In addition to the required warranty described herein, the product contractors will provide relevant data to the 6 SWS point of contact for the maintenance contract to obtain an estimate for sustainment/maintenance once the warranty period has expired. Just confirming, you want an estimated cost for mx contract beyond the 2 years?
A4: That is correct.
Q5: “Cost and Schedule Considerations. After award of this purchase, the contractor must coordinate with the 6 SWS point of contact TSgt Kenrick Sanon or MSgt Todd Pluff on status of work progress, expenses incurred to date, and future work to be planned to include any permits required and the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for completing with project cost.” Does this paragraph apply? Is the contractor to provide expenses incurred on this contract?
A5: Paragraph has been updated accordingly as this effort would be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and contractors are not required to provide their expenses and costs to the Government.
