When looking at an automated locker system for Building 15432, several key characteristics should be prioritized to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with existing infrastructure. Foremost among these is the ability to utilize UF or RFID badges for autonomous temporary or permanent door assignment. Additionally, remote management capabilities will be essential for administrators to efficiently manage and update the system as needed.
The locker should also be able to operate in both stand-alone and networked environments to maximize flexibility and scalability.
Visual indicators, such as availability lights, should be incorporated to provide users with an intuitive and user-friendly interface. In terms of physical dimensions, the locker should contain three compartments of varying sizes: 16 inches wide by 3.25 inches high by 22 inches deep, 16 inches wide by 16.85 inches high by 22 inches deep, and 16 inches wide by 34.75 inches high by 22 inches deep. These compartments must be spacious enough to accommodate tool boxes and other necessary equipment.
Finally, the total dimensions of the locker system must not exceed 50 inches wide by 77 inches high by 36 inches deep. These specifications are essential to ensure that the locker will fit within the available space in Building 15432 and provide adequate storage capacity. Any deviations from these dimensions could result in significant challenges for implementation and operation.
In Addition to providing the above equipment, the contractor shall provide delivery and set up between the hours of 0700-1600 Monday-Friday.
