About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file related to a Request for Information (RFI) for an Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Pro Range Canopy with Installation at Edwards Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses specific details about the procurement, confirming that the requirement is for a canopy fabric and installation services. The installer will be granted site access with their truck and will require an escort on the first day of work to obtain a base pass and be shown the working location.

The first image depicts a partially assembled metal frame canopy structure in an arid, desert-like landscape with concrete foundations, while the second image shows a close-up of what appears to be a welding or installation process on a white structural component. These images likely illustrate the type of canopy structure being sought in the procurement.

Text version

Question: I am just verifying. You just need fabric and an installer. Is this correct?

Answer: Yes, at this time we are only looking for the canopy itself (to specified dimensions) and installation.

Question: I need some close up picture of the columns(height). I need to see the corner pins. Will my installer have access to bring his truck to the site? Will there be special training or a chaperone to take him.

Answer: Yes they will have access with their truck. They will require an escort the first day of work for a base pass and shown the working location
