Executive Furniture Procurement, Installation, and De-installation Statement of Work

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for executive furniture procurement, installation, and de-installation services at Edwards Air Force Base, California, for the Staff Judge Advocate (AFTC/JA) Legal Suite. The project, identified as "JA Legal Suite Furniture Replacement (UFR)," has an estimated delivery window of Summer/Fall 2026, subject to funding approval. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, shipping, delivery, assembly, setup, and installation for new commercial-grade executive office furniture across eight offices, as well as complete de-installation, removal, and proper disposal/recycling of existing furniture, with all work coordinated to minimize disruption to active military operations.

The procurement requires eleven categories of furniture items totaling specific quantities: 7 executive L-shaped height-adjustable desks, 1 straight height-adjustable desk, 8 executive office chairs, 14 guest/customer chairs, 7 executive wardrobe cabinets, 7 display/coffee bar credenzas, 1 conference table with 8 chairs, 2 small office couches, 3 heavy-duty legal bookcases, 2 double-door supply storage cabinets, and 2 five-drawer file cabinets. All wood/laminated elements must feature light-colored finishes (light gray, birch, maple, or light ash) and exclude dark finishes; all furniture must be commercial-grade with heavy-duty construction. A critical constraint is that all furniture must be deliverable through a standard single door in flat-pack or modular components due to the absence of a loading dock. De-installation requires removal of approximately 75 legacy furniture pieces including desks, chairs, bookcases, file cabinets, and storage items. Vendors must submit fully itemized firm-fixed-price quotes broken into four line items: Furniture Procurement (with unit and extended pricing), Delivery and Shipping (all-inclusive to Edwards AFB), Assembly and Installation (on-site labor and equipment), and Legacy De-installation and Disposal (labor, hauling, and recycling fees). Old furniture removal must be coordinated to occur either the day of or day prior to new furniture delivery, requiring at least 10 business days advance notice to the primary point of contact.
