1.0 BACKGROUND

The Lodging Section of Building 7008 is currently occupied with lodging equipment that requires removal. The materials in the lodging section of building 7008 have molded and must be removed and disposed of in order to fulfill health safety requirements. Materials include kitchen appliances, sofas, tables, mattresses, equipment, and etc. Independent testing was performed by a third party, and mold in the area was determined non-hazardous.

2.0 GENERAL INTENTION

The contractor shall remove ALL materials in the lodging section of building 7008. See below for specific tasks associated with this requirement.

3.0 PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

3.1 The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to dispose of the materials in building 7008. Removal of this material may require specialized equipment, as much of the material has molded, due to a neglected HVAC system.

3.2 The Contractor shall provide disposal containers (dumpsters) and vehicle(s) for the removal of all materials. All demoed waste material must be disposed of off base (no waste left on base). No government furnished property (GFP) will be provided.

3.3 Any Government property damaged by the contractor shall be repaired to a condition acceptable to the Government at no additional cost to the Government.

3.4 All the materials in the lodging section of building 7008 must be removed and disposed of within 10 days of contract award.

3.5 Services performed shall not be accepted until the Government Inspector validates that 100% of the materials have been removed (See Attachment 4.2).

3.6 Bldg 7008 is a secure building. Therefore work will be performed between Monday through Friday between 0730hrs and 1630hrs. Containment, access, and material removal will be coordinated with CE, CONS, FSS, the facility manager, and building occupants so as not to impede building operations.
