This Statement of Work (SOW) details the remanufacturing requirements for the F118 Oil Lubricating Tank for the United States Air Force. The contract, issued by the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, covers the restoration of F118-100 Oil Lubricating Tanks (NSN: 2840-01-297-1536LR, P/N: 7101M43G05) to their original life expectancy. The contractor must remanufacture the tanks using manufacturing processes similar to original production, comply with specified technical orders and quality standards, and follow strict counterfeit prevention protocols.
Key requirements include performing comprehensive inspections, using approved parts from original equipment manufacturers or authorized distributors, maintaining ISO 9001 quality systems, and submitting multiple detailed reports including production reports, asset visibility tracking, and counterfeit prevention documentation. The contractor will receive degraded or inoperable tanks from the government and must restore them to serviceable condition, with specific emphasis on safety compliance, packaging standards, and traceability. The contract includes a surge option allowing the government to increase quantity by up to 150 percent, with delivery schedules and pricing to be negotiated if the option is exercised.
