About this file
The file is a PowerPoint presentation from an F117 Industry Day event hosted by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) at Tinker AFB, detailing the capabilities of three maintenance groups: 76 PMXG (Propulsion Maintenance Group), 76 CMXG (Commodities Maintenance Group), and associated engine component services. The presentation provides comprehensive insights into the organization's technical capabilities, including engine maintenance processes across four gates (disassembly, material/kitting, assembly, and testing), with support for multiple aircraft engine platforms such as F-15, F-16, F-35, B-52, KC-135, and others.
Key technical capabilities highlighted include advanced component services like chemical stripping, thermal spray technologies, precision machining, non-destructive inspection (NDI), additive repair capabilities, and specialized repair development for engine components. The groups demonstrate expertise in handling engines from various manufacturers including GE, Pratt & Whitney, and Honeywell, with capabilities spanning engine induction, material control, assembly, testing, and comprehensive maintenance and repair operations. The presentation is marked as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and emphasizes operational readiness tools like Walk the Wall Briefs, Over the Shoulder reviews, and training matrix systems to ensure maintenance efficiency and cross-training.

Operational Readiness
Tools we use to operate…
Walk the Wall Briefs (WTW):
This has been a huge asset when it comes to monitoring our program machines. Our standard process has been to have 3 of these WTW Meetings on a weekly basis (1 Major WTW & 2 Minors) These help with communicating with our partner(s), setting targets & goals, analyzing data and solving constraints.
Over the Shoulder (OTS):
(Monthly Requirement) Each supervisor works with their team to identify constraints, issues or problems specifically within their shop. Once they identify, they work with their team to resolve. Since we have started this method in 2023, we have identified and resolved over 500 instances
Chicklet Charts (Training):
Implemented Chicklet Charts in 2023, this is a matrix-based program that helps the supervisor identify training & cross-training efforts. This helps prevent single point failures.
