About this file
This document is a notification of compliance with contract insurance requirements for a Department of the Army National Guard contract. The contractor acknowledges that they understand and will maintain the required insurance types and amounts specified in FAR 28.307-2 for the duration of the contract and any extensions. The insurance policies are required to contain an endorsement providing 30 calendar days notice to the Contracting Officer for any cancellations or material changes affecting the government's interests. Delaware Workers' Compensation Insurance or a letter of reciprocal agreement with another state must also be maintained for the entire performance period of the contract and any extensions. The contractor must make copies of all subcontractor proofs of required insurance available to the Contracting Officer upon request.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for asphalt paving repairs including site investigation, grading, full replacement of base course aggregate and bituminous, mill and overlay, hot mix asphalt, sealing, striping, and incidental services. The solicitation includes one line item for a full roadway replacement and 14 option line items for other roads and parking areas. The magnitude of the project is approximately 12,500 square yards of hot-mix asphalt roadway and parking area repair, including mill and overlay and full base course replacement, grading for drainage, sealing new asphalt against existing concrete, and pavement markings, with an anticipated value between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
