About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Health, Office of Information Technology, Bureau of Clinic Management and Informatics. The agency seeks to procure maintenance, monitoring, and support services for the Department's Health Information Exchange (HIE) solution, which facilitates the exchange of patient data to improve healthcare speed, quality, safety, and cost. The contract term is three years. The posting date is March 3, 2026, with a deadline for receipt of vendor information by March 24, 2026. No bidders' conference or site visit is mentioned in the document.

The estimated contract value is $750,255.40. The intended single source vendor is CRISP Shared Services, identified as the sole provider and distributor of system maintenance, technical support, and enhancements for the Department's current HIE solution. The justification for single source acquisition is based on CRISP Shared Services' exclusive rights to all system maintenance, technical support, and upgrades necessary to maintain continuity of the existing integrated systems and processes. The purchase was approved by Allegra Small, Purchasing Director. Prospective vendors are invited to submit information regarding their capability to supply these services; however, the agency has already determined that the services appear to be available only from the identified single source.
