About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of General Services, for Sonitrol Monitoring and Maintenance Service. The procurement seeks monthly monitoring and maintenance services for the existing security system at the Capital Circle Office Complex (CCOC), with a one-year contract term. The solicitation was posted on May 9, 2025, with a response deadline of May 30, 2025, at 9:30 A.M. The procurement covers security and control equipment services, security systems services, surveillance/alarm maintenance, and identification document management, utilizing specific NSPSC codes 46151600, 92121700, 92121701, and 55121800.

The estimated contract value is $99,000.00, with Sonitrol identified as the sole source provider due to their proprietary alarm system currently in use by DOH. The justification for single-source acquisition emphasizes that Sonitrol is the exclusive provider of monitoring, maintenance, software, and equipment for the existing proprietary alarm system. The procurement allows prospective vendors to provide information about their ability to supply similar services, but the document strongly suggests a preference for maintaining the current system with its existing provider. The solicitation is structured to validate the single-source justification while maintaining transparency in the procurement process.
