About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) published by the Florida Department of Health (DOH), Division of Children's Medical Services (CMS). The DOH CMS has a need for on-site inventory services of an estimated total of 300,000 X-ray records and microfiche cards. The services required include on-site digitalization, indexing, and disposition for medical X-rays, microfiche, and microfilm currently stored at the CMS Headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. The intended single source for these services is Optimized Professional Solutions, as they are the sole provider of the Inventory Records Management Systems (IRMS) and can perform the on-site work required due to HIPAA and records compliance restrictions. The estimated dollar amount for this contract is $390,000.00, and the term is for 1 year.
The justification for the single-source acquisition is that Optimized Professional Solutions is the sole provider of the IRMS and can perform the on-site services required to meet the DOH CMS's needs. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the requested services, and if it is determined that the services are available only from a single source, the agency will provide notice of its intended decision to enter a single-source purchase contract.
