About this file
This document is Exhibit E of a federal janitorial services solicitation, detailing the Schedule of Janitorial Services with specific service items, descriptions, and performance standards required.
The schedule encompasses fourteen service categories with defined frequencies and quality standards. Twice-weekly services include trash removal (with 100% recycled liners), vacuuming (using HEPA filter or beater brush machines), hard surface cleaning (damp mopping ceramic, tile, or vinyl tile), high-touch surface disinfection (using 70% alcohol solutions or EPA-registered disinfectants), restroom disinfection (with environmentally friendly antibacterial products and 100% recycled paper products), and miscellaneous cleaning (fingerprint removal, drinking fountain disinfection). Monthly services include dusting with damp/chemical-treated cloths, window cleaning (interior and exterior at 38 degrees or above, avoiding pressure washing), trash receptacle washing, toilet bowl and urinal de-scaling, and HVAC intake cleaning performed quarterly. Specialized services performed twice annually include professional carpet cleaning using hot water extraction systems by Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) certified "Master Cleaners," with Scotch Gard treatment applied to high-traffic areas and water/steam temperatures not exceeding 120°F. Annual services include light fixture globe and panel cleaning in October and re-lamping with energy-efficient LED T8 ballast-compatible lamps maintaining uniform cool white color temperature. All cleaning products must be environmentally friendly where specified, and exterior window cleaning requires non-abrasive, wet chemical cleaners with pH values between 3.0 and 11.0.
