About this file

This document is Exhibit E, a HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) Income Limits table for the year 2025, effective April 1, 2025. The exhibit provides comprehensive income limit data for assisted housing programs, specifically the Section 8 project-based and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs.

The table details income limits at various Area Median Income (AMI) levels - 50%, 80%, 100%, and 120% - for households ranging from 1 to 8 persons. Income limits are calculated based on Median Family Income estimates and Fair Market Rent area definitions for metropolitan areas. For example, a single-person household at 50% AMI has an income limit of $39,300, while the same household at 120% AMI can earn up to $92,100. These income limits are crucial for determining eligibility for various housing assistance programs, helping to target support to households within specific income brackets.
