About this file

This document is Washington State University's (WSU) Terms and Conditions/General Terms and Conditions document related to their PCI-DSS Qualified Security Assessor Services contract opportunity. The document establishes the contractual framework that would govern the relationship between WSU and contractors providing PCI consulting services and annual assessments to verify University merchants' compliance with current PCI-DSS standards.

The document primarily focuses on standard contractual requirements including confidentiality obligations, data security requirements, breach notification procedures, and compliance with state/federal regulations. It specifically requires contractors to maintain SSAE 18 (SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2) reports, Higher Education Community Vendor Toolkit (HECVAT), PCI DSS certification, and other security assessments. The terms outline requirements for protecting WSU's confidential information, including personal information of customers, employees, students and donors, with strict protocols for data handling, storage, and breach notification procedures.
